Tiger allegedly paid thirty-eight million dollars to purchase the beachfront property with a home already built on it. Tiger Woods' primary house will not be his for much longer, RadarOnline reports. According to the web site, wife Elin Nordegren will gain control of the home as part of the couple's still-rumored divorce settlement.

The Woods-Elin divorce rumors picked up in late June, with one report claiming that divorce papers were "about to be signed" and another saying that the negotiations were in their "final meetings." Tiger Woods' wife bought a six-bedroom house on a small island near Stockholm that is reachable only by boat.

Stenake Johansson, chairman of the Residential Association on Faglaro island, told the Associated Press on Saturday that Elin Nordegren became the owner on Dec. 1.

Nordegren's father, radio talk show host Thomas Nordegren, said Saturday he doesn't know if that's true.

The island has about 140 properties, mostly summer homes. Fresh off his divorce, Tiger Woods has taken out a $54.5 million mortgage on his Florida waterfront estate.

Mortgage documents filed last month in Martin County show Woods will make payments to an entity called JRD Florida Ventures LLC. That is a Virginia company whose registered agent is an attorney with the firm that represented Woods' ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, in their divorce.

The documents say Woods will pay the mortgage in full by January 2016.

Attorneys for Woods and his ex-wife declined comment Thursday.

Woods and Nordegren divorced Aug. 23 and mortage papers were dated Aug. 25
